Hi! I’m Libby Dollar
I’ve been a wedding photographer since 2009. I’ve watched trends come and go and I prefer timeless wedding photos because they are for your future.
I come from a big, loud family and I used to be a bartender, so I’m good with even the rowdiest group, and I believe everyone deserves to be treated with respect.
I believe that how you feel in your photos is how you look in your photos, so I learn about you and listen to you to bring out your best looks on camera.
I became a wedding photographer after I had a bad experience with my own wedding photos in 2006. I got started in this business because I knew there had to be a better way to make couples feel comfortable and give them the photos they actually want.
Yes, Dollar is my real last name. I couldn’t get my name as my Instagram handle because the dollar store in Libby, Montana beat me to it. (I ended up with @libbydollarphoto)
I am calm and even-tempered on even the most chaotic day. I’ve seen it all, and I am here to support you.
I’ve now photographed over 300 weddings in 27 US states and abroad. Wedding photography is my absolute favorite thing and I can’t imagine my life doing anything else.
Libby Dollar Photography is a small business that I run with my husband, Caleb
Caleb and I work together seamlessly because we can communicate with a glance across the room. As a team we are always careful to use different lenses and approach the same moment from different angles so you get maximum variety in your gallery.
We don’t use associate photographers or hire work out. We are who will be there on your wedding day. Because of this we take a limited number of clients per year.
In addition to 15+ years as wedding photographers, the two of us have a combined 40 years working in hospitality. Amazing service is our #1 value.
In our spare time we cook together, explore new places, attempt to grow passionfruit, and spend time with my teenaged daughter.

What we believe:
Our job at your wedding is to thoroughly cover everything. As much as possible, every moment and detail should be represented in your final gallery, because photos are the only thing you invest in on your wedding day that are really for after the wedding, they should thoroughly represent every aspect of your day.
Every body is beautiful. You do not have to conform to some arbitrary (and, frankly, harmful) beauty standard to look amazing in photos. Before your wedding, I’ll ask a lot of questions so I can portray you not just in a flattering way, but exactly how you want to be seen. Strong? Radiant? Etherial? Your photos are as much about your vibe as anything else.

About Caleb:
Your second photographer, Caleb Huber, joined Libby Dollar Photography in 2021, after many years as a photographer, and many more years in customer service. He also has an arts background, he plays drums, speaks Spanish fluently, is an incredible cook, and studied Luthery (Which means he can make a guitar from scratch).
Caleb is profoundly committed to hospitality, excellence, and honesty. He has a gift for logistics, technology, spur-of-the-moment problem solving, and making clients feel at home.
Caleb loves photographing fly-on-the-wall moments and intricate details. His favorite lens is a telephoto zoom (which enables him to get close-ups from far away) so he can capture sincere moments without even being noticed.
While Libby culls and edits all our images, handle client meetings, emails, and online marketing, Caleb maintains gear, manages bridal shows, and second shoots every wedding that includes two photographers.
Most of the photos on this website are Libby’s, though Caleb’s images are mixed in throughout.
Caleb the exclusive second photographer for all of our weddings. He is also available on a limited basis for shoots on his own. If you are interested in working with Caleb as your primary photographer, please let us know when you inquire.
