Junior League of Houston Wedding
Bride, Stacia, has been a longtime member of the Junior League of Houston and couldn’t imagine having her wedding anywhere else. The beautifully decorated space houses a Ballroom and a tea room, and makes the ideal backdrop for a summer wedding.
Getting Ready at the St. Regis
I had been looking forward to this day since I met Stacia, but when I walked into her suite at the st. Regis and found her rehearsing a choreographed dance to an Abba song, that’s when I knew I was in for a treat. This group was as fun and considerate as they were beautiful. Wait until you see the shot of their performance.
Stacia bought all her bridesmaids matching dresses to get ready in, and they spent the morning together at the St. Regis before boarding a shuttle to the ceremony at All Saints Catholic Church in the Heights.
Groom Getting Ready at Home
I know what you’re thinking: "Where can I get a set of those cufflinks?” They were custom made and a gift from the bride. WTF are the groom’s actual initials. Obviously the groom was born before WTF means what it means now, but what a legend for creating such a great look.
Ceremony at All Saints Catholic Church
Stacia and Wylie opted for a traditional wedding Mass at the beautiful All Saints Catholic Church in Houston’s Heights neighborhood, where they attend services.
Family Portraits at the Church
Family portraits on your wedding day are always easiest to take when you don’t have to go searching for people. The end of the ceremony is the ideal time to take the formal group portraits because rounding up your family members is as simple as asking them to stay there. Stacia had put together a list of about 20 groupings of her and Wylie’s family members to be photographed immediately following the wedding. We only had about 20 minutes before the church had asked us to be out and we got them all done perfectly.
Portraits at the Junior League
For the Bride and Groom’s portraits together, it’s hard to beat the Junior League. The building offered tons of great spots indoors and out—which was especially important on this hot day. It’s also worth noting that this is the last wedding to be held in the ballroom as you see it above. The day after the wedding started an extensive renovation project. Word is the wallpaper as you see it above is going to be preserved and is quite the hot commodity.
Dinner Details
The Junior League of Houston’s already well-appointed space enjoyed vibrant summery flowers created by Simply Beautiful Florist. The historic Junior League Ballroom is slated for renovation this summer, and this wedding was the last one held in the space before it completely changes its look. Word is the wallpaper is so beloved that people have bid on it. The groom’s cake was made in the shape of the iconic football field of his alma matter. Boise State has a notoriously blue turf football field, memorialized here in fondant.
A Reception to Remember
Guests were treated to dinner and dancing all night. The bride and her father showed off some fancy dance moves before inviting everyone to the floor to dance with them. And, as promised, the bridesmaids performed their choreographed dance to Abba’s “Dancing Queen” to a thrilled crowd.

Stacia & Wylie booked 2 photographers (Libby and Caleb) for unlimited time and received 1374 total images.
Stacia left this review for us on Google:
“From the moment we called Libby after learning about her, she made us feel like our wedding would be the highlight of her year! Hard to do considering she is a wedding photographer, capturing many couples' joy throughout the year. Initially she inquired about our relationship and who we were before diving into discussing our photos. This was so refreshing and really helped with perspective keeping in the midst of wedding planning.
Libby was involved every step of the way; from chatting via texts to going to our venue to get a sense of the space. And all of this was just pre-wedding.
Day of, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Libby and Caleb fit right in with our family and friends capturing everything we wanted, even getting on a first name basis with several members of the wedding party.
Libby will be as involved as you want her to be! Her flexible personality is a match for even the most discerning brides. And once those post wedding blues hit, she’s there to cheer you right up with her STUNNING true to color photos. Libby Dollar is exceptional.” —Stacia Foss
